Each individual, whether independently or with assistance, shall be able to make medical, psychiatric and dental appointments, as needed. They shall be assisted in following specific physician’s orders. The individual shall be assisted in communicating with their pharmacy to ensure that they call and re-order and acquire prescription refills, as directed. And whether independently or with assistance take any prescribed medications.
United Supportive Living shall utilize county mental health agencies as their primary resource for any routine mental health counseling and psychiatric medication management, unless the individual comes with a specific psychiatrist they are actively utilizing.
