Each individual shall develop skills in light housekeeping, whether independently or with assistance. The housekeeping chore could include dusting; vacuuming; sweeping; and cleaning counters in all rooms of their home. The individual shall be assisted in developing and adhering to a cleaning schedule. They shall be able to assist in contacting any appropriate services (such as a plumber, landlord, etc.) and learn to have a working knowledge of home security techniques. The individual shall, independently or with assistance, be able to utilize laundry facilities by sorting and folding laundry, know and select appropriate clothing size, replace old or damaged clothing, make minor repairs such as sewing on buttons and be able to purchase clothing.
